    Co-Director Bonnie Clark and Carlene Tanigoshi Tinker, project volunteer and Amache survivor, were featured in two Colorado Public Radio pieces about roses first found by archaeology crews at Amache.

    Co-Director Bonnie Clark mentioned in National Public Radio’s morning edition in relation to the Amache rose.

    Dr. Clark was interviewed for a similar piece on Canadian Public Radio entitled “Japanese Americans planted a rose bush at a WW II internment camp. Now it's blooming again”

    Co-Project Director Dr. April Kamp-Whittaker was featured in a 2019 article by Arizona State University, where she received her Ph.D.

  • Pacific Citizen - October 2018

    Tomi Eijima, an Amache descendant and 2018 High School intern, reflected on her experience at Amache in an article for the national newspaper of the Japanese American Citizens League.
