Connecting the Pieces: Dialogues on the Amache Archaeology Collection

Inspired by the in-field collaboration of students and community members, faculty at the University of Denver (DU) and staff of the DU Museum of Anthropology launched a co-curated exhibit of items from archaeological research at Amache.

The curators, community members and DU students chose these objects because of the history they reveal and the stories they help us tell. Starting as an on-campus exhibit, the exhibit grew into both a virtual and travelling exhibit.

We invite you to explore the online exhibit and consider hosting the travelling exhibit.

In addition, we invite educators and community members to utilize curriculum created aimed for 4-7th grade students that works as a companion to either the travelling or online exhibit.
